| The primary purpose of a Valuation Report is to provide a valuation only of a particular property. It is based upon a very limited inspection and comparable sales evidence of similar properties. A Valuation Report is normally undertaken for a Bank, Building Society, or other financial institution to assess whether a property is suitable security for a loan. It is NOT a survey, nor does it provide a detailed report. A Valuation Report may be required for the following purposes: | | | Property purchase | Second charge | | Probate | Like for like | | Matrimonial | Insurance | | Inheritance planning | Litigation | | Taxation | Rental value | | Bank loans | Right to buy |
| | When providing a valuation, Martin Jung & Co will need to know for what purpose it is required. A Valuation will be provided with a Homebuyers Report and is often combined with a Building Survey. However, there are times when a formal valuation only is required. |
